Blogging etiquette.

I went exploring the others who have linked to this blog and when I got to Jacob da Jew’s blog learned a little about blog etiquette. That is that it is polite and proper to return the compliment of having your blog listed on their Blog roll. Not having well developed social skills things like this escape my attention till I see it spelled out in simple terms. Thus I have added some blogs to my links that are great blogs on top of thinking enough of me to send their friends my way. Jacob Da Jew is a fantastic, at least for me, view of a culture that is in many ways thousands of years old. I believe that the more we can see and understand others the better this world will be. Byron at Oddities and Endities has been a regular visitor of mine for quite some time. He digs up all kinds of stuff and adds his own cartoons that gives it some of that British flavor that is slightly yet delightfully out of tune. Always fun stuff. Eric at the Fire Ant Gazette has sent more folks my way than anyone. Just a good down to earth??? kind of West Texas guy who lives about fifteen miles from us. Now I need to figure out how to put the link thing in so you can click on their names and go to their site. Byron showed me how to do that ages ago and if it was more than an hour ago it’s gone. If I don’t get it you can link to them from my links sidebar.

Dearest Bob,

Thank you very much for adding me to the links on your blog.My anger wasnt directed towards you at all.I have not asked you to add me so I have no rancor towards you.

There are people who I have requested many times for the simple courtesy and have been totally ignored.Maybe I am a small fish in the Blog pond but I have teeth, like a piranha.

Anyways, people that know me personally have expressed their admiration for your fortitude of spirit and life.Thank you for the example of inspiration that you are for the world.

p.s. "Kifui Tova" is modern hebrew for "ungrateful".

Hey Jacob, I knew you weren't angry at me, Ya just made me open my eyes some. "Kifui Tova" is a phrase that could well come in handy. Can't wait to direct it where it deserves to go and watch the recipient struggle to figure out what I just called him.

Eric, I had trouble putting a comment on your blog the other day so gave up. Today Blogger was down for some kind of maintenance so maybe that's what was going on. A anvil may be simple but you sure know where it stands, and it can be a bit hard to move it from it's position. See ya at the superbowl thing.
