Another slow start

9/5/07 Wednesday
We got the puppies to the vet for their final shots. They won’t need any more till a year from now. That’s good cause the $120.00 it just cost is a chunk at this juncture in the road. We had to get the shots se we could kennel them when we drive to Albuquerque on the eighteenth for my appointment with the neurologist. The only other expense we have coming up with the puppies is getting them fixed. We’ll do that next month when the yearly CRP check comes in. That check will help us with a lot of things that need to be taken care of.

Right now I am going through a partial seizure. It’s effecting the physical control side of my brain. Lately these come with a strange metallic taste in my mouth. That is particularly strong at the moment. At least I got some weeds hoed down this morning and the dogs to the vet. I never know how long these things take or how bad they will get. It’s steady downhill now and I am struggling to find words as I write. Wasn’t that bad when I started this post. Cherie is heading out to the laundrymat. She will probably be a while because so much laundry has piled up. I think I will just shut this down till I clear up. See ya then.

Me too. One of the things affected by the brain damage was my sense of taste. (along with my sense of smell) Much of that has returned as my brain rewires itself but is still damaged. Sometimes I experience moments that may last a half hour or so where those senses are amplified incredibly. It's almost like I'm a bloodhound able to tell who walked by. And food tastes fantastic. (as long as it's good to start with)
